An Affordable Tennis Program Managed and Run by the Philadelphia Area Team Tennis Association 

Learn and Play Tennis on a Team!  Just as in baseball, soccer, and basketball, players will be placed on tennis teams and play against other teams.  Here are some details:

Where: East Goshen Park, West Chester, PA

When: Matches and Practices will be Saturday afternoons and at 1 of 3 sessions:

Red Ball 1 Division
For Ages: Players in grades PK-2 (minimum age is 5).
Format: Red Transition Balls, 36 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 1:45-1:45
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 1:15-2:30

Red Ball 2 Division
For Ages: Players in grades PK-2 (minimum age is 5).
Format: Red Transition Balls, 36 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 2:45-3:45
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 2:30-3:45

***NOTE that there is NO Difference in age or ability level in the Red Ball Divisions***

Orange Ball Division
For Ages: Players in grades 3-4 (Very experienced 2nd graders may also play)
Format: Orange Transition Balls, 60 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 3:45-4:45
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 3:45-5:00

Green Ball Division
For Ages: Players in grades 5-8 (Very experienced 4th graders may also play)
Format: Yellow and Green Dot Balls, Full 78 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 4:45-5:45
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 5:00-6:15

Dates for the program will be: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24
Backup/Rain Dates will be: 10/31 and/or Sundays as needed

Cost:  $95 for the season, and includes uniform, award, and end of season party.

Level of Play: The league is for beginner and intermediate players. 

Weekly Format: The first 3 weeks will be practices, focusing on fundamentals, games, and scoring.  The last 4 weeks will be devoted to match play against other teams.  The last session will be a match/awards ceremony.

Calendar:
September 7th – Registration Ends
September 12th – First Practices
September 26th – Matches Begin
October 24th – Anticipated final matches/Awards Ceremony
